How To Get A Scar-Free Flawless Skin?

A flawless skin is the dream of everyone, however scars of any type can really ruin your dream. Scars repress your facial features and bring an unhygienic look on your face. Here, we will discuss the easiest home remedies for acne scars, skin burn scars and injury scars.

ACNE SCARS

Without getting jumbled with the medical jargon, let’s simply understand the basic types of acne scars. The two basic types of acne scars depend on the skin tissues covered by the acne. In the first type, the acne would penetrate deeply into the skin, resulting in the loss of skin tissues. This type of scar would appear as a concave-shape, dug deeper into the skin. In the other type, acne stretches out the skin tissues and creates a convex-shape on the uppermost layer of the skin. The scar would appear as a conjugation of tissues and would seem to be an acne apparently. Several treatments like punch grafting, laser resurfacing and cortisone ointments etc. are given for different types of acne, however a frequent and gradual use of a few home-based acne scar treatments can really help you get rid of them permanently, and with much less money.

  1. Cleanse your skin daily. For acne scars, mix the cleansing lotion and a patent moisturizing cream in equal proportions, and a few drops of toner. Massage the areas of acne scars in circular motion with light hands.
  2. Make a thin paste of ground almonds (4 to 5) and coconut milk (as required), and apply on your full face overnight. It will not only vanish the acne scars but will also improve your natural glow. The lovers of fair complexion can ideally use this simple formula.
  3. Mix a few drops of olive oil, rose oil, honey and 1 capsule of Vitamin C and massage your skin with it for at least 5 minutes. Wash your face with lukewarm water after 15 minutes. A few drops of lemon juice can also be used in the absence of vitamin C capsules.

SKIN BURN SCARS

For skin burn scars, a simple strategy works the best i.e. the use of such treatments that lower the temperature of scar tissues.

A) Wrap a piece of ice in a cloth, and rub it on the scar surface area for at least 2 minutes daily.

B) Yogurt is the best skin cooler. You can mix ground almonds or oatmeal with yogurt and gently massage the burn scar area.

C) Aloe Vera gel can be directly applied on burn scars. Cut the stem of aloe vera directly from the plant, and peal it off. Now gently squeeze it. The stem pulp would drip tiny drops or the gel.

For severe burn injuries, you should first consult a dermatologist who might suggest you freezing therapy.

INJURY SCARS

Injury scars can be a result of cuts or wounds. The idea of cleansing or exfoliating the injury scars will bring more inflammation to the skin. Remember that you are ‘applying’ home treatment on the injury scar, and not rubbing it.

I. Drink a glass of fresh juice rich in vitamin C and E as your first drink/meal of the day. Orange and carrot juice would work the best.

II. A mixture of aloe vera gel, a few drops of honey, honey, olive oil, a capsule of vitamin E or C and a neosporin can be applied on the injury scar.

III. Make a thin mixture of peanut butter, yogurt and ground almonds or oatmeal, and apply on the scar till the mixture dries out.
